150 Charles creates a vision of weaving new development into the natural and historic environment of the West Village. Architecture and landscape are crafted to evoke a scale and texture characteristic of the neighborhood. The building, a careful composition of stacked volumes, incorporates an abandoned warehouse façade and creates a vibrant streetscape, preserving the neighborhood scale and connections to its historic past.

Located in the heart of culturally rich South Austin, Lamar Union is a dynamic, mixed-use, urban infill development, embodying its surroundings. The project has reinvigorated this region of Austin and includes multiple structures that encompass residential, retail and entertainment uses. The project includes parkland dedication, as well as a central promenade intended for public use.
Named after the architectural focal point of the historic neighborhood, the Flatiron Institute is dedicated to being thought leaders in the fields of mathematics, astrophysics and biochemistry. The garden expands the Center’s world-class programs into a vibrant landscape, positioning nature as an essential partner in interdisciplinary discussions.

The philosophy that drove the design of the terrace was to create an urban roofscape that celebrated the spectacle of the city. The terrace landscape enhances the experience of the city, drawing clues from surrounding industrial roofs and giant infrastructures by constantly negotiating an exchange between the introversion and extroversion of the space.
